Onward and downward ...
#85 Pro-Bush Canuck: Over 7,400 comments, but it all melted down on May 3, 2009. First, on a thread entitled "Lebanon's Jumblatt wants ban on Iranian flights," he went OT with a bullet in post # 66, when he told Charles that LGF had the worst spell-check engine anywhere, and also, by the way, most lizardoids were "trained seals." On a later thread, "Burqa Bandit in Philly?", in post #42, he followed up by telling Charles he was not a "super-programmer," and that, in fact, he was a "mac-hole." In post #119 Charles lowered the boom, with a comment about not tolerating people "sneering at me on my own website." Lizardoid pleas to Charles to forgive Pro-Bush Canuck because his sister was sick fell on deaf ears.
#86 Macker: 7,460 comments, but not particularly memorable - lives in a suburb of Chicago. Was banned on August 22, 2009, although the offense is not apparent from the postings on LGF. And then we get to the hilarity of the "Overnight Open Thread" on that same day, when a brand new poster named "Lady E," started asking questions about why Macker was banned. "She" was immediately suspected of Macker sockpuppetry. On #793 she asked "What's a sockpuppet," after claiming to not understand this whole Internet thingy, and Charles lowered the boom in #901 by revealing that Lady E was, in fact, a Macker sockpuppet. But when asked why Macker was banned in the first place, Charles wouldn't reply, stating in #997 that he "can't reveal some things, because the trolls will change their behavior."
#87 Attaboid: 2,294 comments from this Montreal resident. His comments tended to be both very short and somewhat stupid, even by LGF commenter standards. On July 25, 2009, on "White House Beer Tastes Better," he got into a minor spat with Sharmuta. Three days later, on "Video: Glenn Beck Calls Obama a Racist," he apparently flounced and was banned. Charles deleted his comment, so we don't know what he said.
#88 Carl in Jerusalem: Member of the LGF Eretz Israel contingent, Carl posted over 9,000 times on LGF, and has his own blog as well. Which suddenly became an issue on August 24, 2009, when in a thread entitled "Snow Leopard This Week" Charles announced Carl's banning for 1) "spamming links" (aka pimping your own blog on another person's blog, which Carl allegedly did repeatedly on LGF, but, more importantly, 2) daring to link to something at (gasp!) Gates of Vienna. Carl's ouster led to NY Nana exiting the building too.
Megan: 2,021 posts for this lizardoid, who apparently went over to Discarded lies. Was involved in the Great Discarded Lizard Massacre of 2008 (see case study #24), because she was "downdinging" Charles' posts. She may be going by another monicker at Discarded Lies, because there are only four posts, all from 2005, with the name "Megan" on them.
